Sip & Run, Walk or Roll - An All-Abilities Fall 5K
The event takes place on Saturday, November 7, 2026, at the Doran Arboretum in Murray, Kentucky. It is presented as an inclusive run, walk, and roll experience open to participants of varying abilities.
Participants can choose a competitive racing option or a noncompetitive fun run. The competitive category permits only manual mobility-assistance devices. The fun run welcomes all mobility-assistance devices, does not require a specific pace, and includes nonalcoholic mocktail samples provided along the course.
Distances:
- 5K (3.1 miles) competitive and buddy options
- 1-mile fun run with mocktail samples
Entry fees and special accommodations are specified for each option: the 5K has a $40 fee, the 1-mile fun run has a $35 fee, and children age 3 and under may walk the fun run for free with registration and a waiver. Buddy entries provide free admission for a personal assistant or community living specialist (CLS) when accompanying a participant who needs support.
Proceeds benefit Generations Adult Day Services, a nonprofit serving adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, cognitive impairments, aging-related needs, and complex medical needs; proceeds support rebuilding efforts after a 2025 fire.
