Silverton Color Fun Run and Walk

The Silverton Color Fun Run and Walk is an annual event held at Ralph W. Ficke Memorial Park in Cincinnati, Ohio. This untimed event is centered around an asphalt path within the park and is open to participants of all ages. Participants are provided with a white t-shirt and encounter color stations where they are splashed with chalk color.

The event follows a specific course structure:

  • 1.5 Mile Color Fun Run/Walk: This distance consists of five laps around the park path and features five different color stations.

Children aged 13 and younger must be accompanied by an adult during the run or walk. The event proceeds are used to support students at Silverton Elementary.

In addition to the run and walk, the venue hosts a carnival at Ficke Park. The carnival includes various activities such as music, food, games, bounce houses, and face painting. Participation in the carnival is open to everyone, including those who do not take part in the colored run. The event is co-sponsored by local organizations, including Silverton Elementary, the Village of Silverton, and High Grain Brewery & Kitchen.
