Silverton Color Fun Run and Walk
The Silverton Color Fun Run and Walk is the Fourth Annual community event held at Ralph W. Ficke Memorial Park, 7044 East Avenue, Cincinnati, OH 45236. The event is an untimed 1.5 mile run and walk that uses the asphalt trail around Ficke Park. The course is made up of five laps with five color or chalk stations along the route. Participants receive a white T shirt on race morning and are doused with color by the end of the event.
The event is open to all ages; anyone 13 years or younger must be accompanied by an adult. A park carnival runs alongside the run and walk and features music, food, carnival games, bounce houses, and face painting. Proceeds support students at Silverton Elementary. The event is co sponsored by Silverton Elementary, the Village of Silverton, and High Grain Brewery and Kitchen. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
