Shoots and Ladders 5K and 10K

Shoots and Ladders is a 5K and 10K running event held in Plano, Texas with both in-person and virtual options. The in-person course starts and finishes at the Red Tail Pavilion at Oak Point Park and follows a route through Oak Point Park and the adjacent nature preserve.

All race participants receive a custom bib, a gender specific technical shirt, and a finisher medal with blinking lights. Virtual entries include the same shirt, medal, and bib; virtual packets are shipped to the US continental addresses approximately 4 to 6 weeks after the event date.

Proceeds from the event benefit the Plano Police Association and the Plano Firefighters Association. Both beneficiary organizations are described as fraternal, benevolent, and charitable 501(c) organizations that support members, families, and the wider community.

The event is organized by AMPT Running Co and is part of AMPT’s multi race series. Participants who complete the AMPT series can earn additional series awards and items offered by the organizer.
