Shoots and Ladders 5K & 10K
Shoots and Ladders is an annual running event in Plano, Texas that offers both in-person and virtual options. The event includes two distances and runs on a route through Oak Point Park and its nature preserve, with the Red Tail Pavilion serving as the start and finish area.

All registered participants receive a custom race bib, a gender-specific technical shirt, and a finisher medal with blinking lights. Proceeds from the event benefit the Plano Police Association and the Plano Firefighters Association, both described as fraternal, benevolent and charitable 501(c) organizations that support members, families and the local community.
The race is organized by AMPT Running Co and is part of a multi-race series. Participants may complete distances either live or virtually; virtual entries include mailed race packets for U.S. continental addresses in certain years. Volunteers are used along the course and for event operations. The event has returned in multiple formats across recent years and is presented with sponsor and community support.
