Shoots and Ladders 10K & 5K
Shoots and Ladders is a running event organized by AMPT Running Co that offers both in-person and virtual participation. The race takes place in Plano, Texas, with the Red Tail Pavilion at Oak Point Park used as the Start and Finish area. The course runs through Oak Point Park and its nature preserve, providing a scenic route for runners and walkers.

All race participants receive a gender-specific technical shirt, a custom bib, and a finisher medal equipped with blinking lights. Virtual participants receive the same shirt, medal, and bib, with virtual packets shipped to US continental addresses after the event.
Proceeds from the event benefit the Plano Police Association and the Plano Firefighters Association. These organizations are fraternal, benevolent, and charitable 501(c) entities that support their members, families, and the wider community by honoring those who serve and promoting public safety and well being.
