Lindy's Shoeboxes 4 Soldiers 5K and Fun Run
This community event in Greenback, TN supports Shoeboxes 4 Soldiers, an effort to provide Christmas care packages to deployed service members. The occasion marks the 20th year of the program, and to date over 4,025 shoeboxes have been sent to service members around the world. All proceeds benefit Shoeboxes 4 Soldiers.
The event includes these distances:
- 5K race
- 1 mile fun run
All registered participants receive an event T shirt. Overall top three male and female finishers receive special finisher awards. There is also a Supporter T Shirt Only option for those who wish to contribute without running.

- Race registration opens March 15, 2026 and closes September 11, 2026; registration fee for the race events is $35.00.
- Supporter T Shirt registration opens August 18, 2026 and closes September 11, 2026; fee is $20.00.
Packet pickup is available at Pine Grove Presbyterian Church the evening before the event and on race morning. An afternoon Gospel Singing and Praise and Worship Gathering features local singers and worship leaders, along with food and refreshments.
