The Shiver by the River #2 takes place on Saturday, February 7, 2026, in Scranton, PA at 3 West Olive St, 18508. The event includes the following distances:

Pre-registration price for each event is $15. Registration closes on February 5, 2026.

Logistics and awards

Packet pickup for pre-registered participants is available Friday, February 6 at Scranton Running Co. from 12:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Day-of registration and packet pickup are available from 8:30 am to 9:45 am; the day-of entry price is $20. Course maps are provided for the 5k and the 10k.

Awards are given to the top overall male and female for both the 5k and 10k, and to the top overall walker. Age-group awards for the 5k and 10k are given in these groups: 0-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+. A contact form is available for questions.
