Shiprock Marathon
The Shiprock Marathon is an annual running event in Shiprock, New Mexico, held at the Shiprock Youth Center over the weekend of April 30 and May 1, 2027. The event includes multiple race formats over two days and marks the 44th running of the Shiprock Marathon. Proceeds benefit year-round outdoor adventure programs for Dine' youth and families and the event uses local volunteers and safety teams.

- Elder Run 2 miles
- Marathon Triple Crown 30 miles
- Half Marathon Triple Crown 17 miles

The course is an out and back road route with views of Shiprock Pinnacle and a long gentle downhill on the return. Aid stations are available roughly every mile and include gels, fresh fruit, Gatorade, water, and assorted snacks. Portajohns and medical support are provided along the route. Timing and results are provided by a professional timing team with posted results at the finish area. Finishers in the marathon and half receive medals and age-group and overall awards are presented based on official timing.
