Shiner Beer Run
The Shiner Beer Run takes place in Shiner, Texas on November 21, 2026. The event marks the 15th anniversary and adds a full marathon to the race lineup for this year.
Race distances include:
- Full Marathon (26.2 miles)
- Half Marathon (13.1 miles)
- 10K (6.2 miles)
- 5K (3.1 miles)
Courses run on small town Texas roads and feature aid stations, live music, and community elements along the route. A post race party is part of the event, and cold Shiner beer is available at the finish. USATF certification is pending.
All marathon finishers receive an exclusive finisher jacket produced for this year only. Awards follow a traditional format that includes steins for top finishers, with Overall Male and Female and Masters Male and Female decided by gun time. Age group awards are based on bib time across the listed divisions from 20 and under through 70 and older. Overall and Masters awards use gun time while age group awards use bib time; participants who run a different distance than registered will not qualify for awards.
Proceeds support the Boot Campaign to assist veterans and military families. RV camping is available at Green-Dickson Municipal Park in Shiner. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
