The Shiner Beer Run takes place on November 21, 2026 in Shiner, Texas (603 East Brewery Street, Shiner, TX 77984, US). The event includes these race options:
- Half Marathon
- 10K Run
- 5K Run
- Partner Pass (21+)
Registration prices listed for 2026 are $95 for the half marathon, $75 for the 10K, $65 for the 5K, and $20 for the Partner Pass. Prices increase after July 5, 2026. The Partner Pass is open to ages 21+ and includes four complimentary Shiner beers and a meal deal; this benefit is included with runner registration.
Course, charity, awards and post-race
Courses go through historic Shiner and include gently rolling hills, downtown streets, neighborhoods, Green-Dickson Park, and stretches of countryside, including the section called the "Manure Mile." The event benefits the Boot Campaign; all proceeds are donated to programs for veterans and military families.
Awards include Top Overall Male and Female and Top Masters Male and Female (based on gun time), plus age-group awards based on chip time across 12 divisions: 20 & under, 21–24, 25–29, 30–34, 35–39, 40–44, 45–49, 50–54, 55–59, 60–64, 65–69, and 70+. Post-race activities include live music, Shiner beer and craft cocktails, home-style food, and Spoetzl Brewery and Distillery tours offered for a fee on a first-come, first-served basis with limited spots per tour.
