Shine A Light On Stroke

The Shine A Light On Stroke is a 5K run/walk event. It takes place at Glasgow Park on Pulaski Highway (Route 40) in Newark, Delaware.

The event is organized by occupational and speech therapists. It aims to raise awareness and support for stroke survivors and their caregivers. Proceeds fund a financial grant available to Delaware residents for stroke-related costs not covered by insurance.

A separate start time is scheduled for stroke survivors. Running chairs are available for participants who require them. Bib pickup and registration are available on the morning of the event.
