Zone 2 Apparel Shelton Striders 10K
The event is the Zone 2 Apparel Shelton Striders 10K and an accompanying Fun Run held at Boulton Lane Park Community Centre in Alvaston, Derby on Sunday 11 October 2026. Zone 2 Apparel is the event sponsor. At least £1 from each 10K entry will go to the nominated charity, Umbrella Derby.
Online entries for both the 10K and the Fun Run are open for 2026. The 10K does not accept entries on the day; Fun Run entries are available online or on the day at the community centre. The race licence number for 2026 is listed as TBC.
Entry costs for 2026 are shown as: 10K £17 unaffiliated, £15 affiliated; Fun Run £3. Optional long sleeve 10K T-shirts are available for £9.50 and 10K hoodies for £15, supplied by Zone 2 Apparel.
The 10K route uses a course first introduced in 2021 with start and finish near the community centre, incorporating the canal path, nearby pathways and Infinity Way. The race village and HQ remain at the community centre. The course is described as flat and fast, with a minor change in 2022 that moved the start closer to the finish and added an extra loop before the finish.
