Event Details
The Sheltair Run The Runway 5K is a 5 km run and walk taking place on Saturday, March 21, 2026. It is the fourth annual edition of this event. The course is unique as it takes participants along the runway of the Ocala International Airport in Ocala, Florida. The exact address is 1200 SW 60th Avenue, Ocala, FL 34474.
Beneficiary
Proceeds from the event will support the Horse Protection Association of Florida, an organization focused on equine rescue, rehabilitation, education, and adoption.
Participant Information
Registration is open. The first 200 registered participants will receive an event T-shirt. Timing is provided by MCM Timing and Results LLC. The first 200 finishers will receive a finisher's medal, and awards are presented to the overall male and overall female finishers. Awards are capped at this level to direct more funds to the charity.
Packet Pickup
Packet pickup is available on Friday, March 20, from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM, and also on race day beginning at 5:45 AM. Both sessions are held at 1200 SW 60th Avenue, Ocala, FL 34474. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
