She.is.beautiful Santa Cruz 5k & 10k
She.is.beautiful in Santa Cruz is a female-focused running event held on Saturday, May 8, 2027. The event offers two distances and both courses share the same finish location.
- 5 km
- 10 km
The event welcomes all people and includes in-person and virtual participation options. The organizer provides a participant guide and requires each entrant to collect a race bib prior to the event; a friend or family member may collect a bib on a participant’s behalf. Race entries are not refundable but may be transferred to another person.
Logistics note the start line location as Bay Street near Lighthouse Avenue. Parking guidance highlights the Santa Cruz Boardwalk main lot as a recommended option with discounted parking tickets available from volunteers; because that lot is close to the start, there is no pre-race shuttle. A post-race shuttle runs to return participants to the Boardwalk parking area. The event also runs complimentary community meet-ups and group training sessions in the months leading up to the race.
She.is.beautiful partners with Walnut Avenue Women and Family Center; since the event began the partnership has raised more than $200,000 to support local services for women, children, and families. Fundraising pages and team fundraising options are available through the event registration system. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
