26th Annual Shannon McNamara Memorial Run/Walk
The event is a memorial run and walk held on 10/25/2026 in Rolling Meadows, Illinois, using Rolling Meadows High School and the adjacent section of Central Road. Participants gather for both a timed 5 km run and a two-mile walk. Parking is available at Rolling Meadows High School, the runners start on Central Road in front of the school, and the event finishes on the stadium track.

A 400 m kids race for children 10 years old and under takes place after the main events. Race day registration and packet pick-up are available on site. The registration fee listed for each event is $30.00.
The 5 km run includes awards: one overall male and one overall female, plus male and female age-group awards for 14 & under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60 & over.
