Shannon 5 Mile Run 2026

The Shannon 5 Mile Run is an inaugural road race organised by Shannon Athletic Club and scheduled for 1 March 2026 at the Shannon Athletic Club location. Permit approval is pending.

The course is described as flat and fast, following an out-and-back loop alongside the Shannon Estuary. The route begins at the Shannon AC grounds and finishes with the last half mile on the Shannon AC perimeter path. The event offers a race T shirt and a finisher's medal to all finishers.
