Border Half Marathon 2026 - Corbally Village
The Border Half Marathon returns for its ninth edition on December 6, 2026. The event is set in Corbally and follows a cross-border route that runs between County Limerick and County Clare.
The course is an accurately measured half marathon distance of 21.1 km (13.1 miles). It uses quiet, well-maintained country roads, is fully marshalled and has water stations spaced along the route. Chip timing with instant results is provided and professional race photos are included. The start is in Corbally Village and the finish is at Seanchoill sports complex, where medals are issued.
Entries are limited to 1,200 participants and runners must be 18 or older on race day. There is a course time limit of 3 hours 30 minutes. Every finisher receives a custom commemorative medal and prizes are awarded across categories. Race pack collection details will be provided to registered entrants.
The event is scheduled in early December and is presented as the closing race of the 2026 calendar for participants who plan year-end events. Logistics emphasize a measured course and on-course support on rural roads that cross the county border. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
