Shane's Crossing 5k Run/Walk
Shane's Crossing is a community 5k Run/Walk held at Shane's Park, 705 W. Front Street, Rockford, OH. The event includes a 5k course and a half mile fun run with free onsite registration on race morning.
Pre-registration is listed at $15.00 and race day registration at $20.00. Youth aged 14 and under are free for 2026. Online registration opens February 5 and closes July 10 for this event.
Awards are presented to the top three overall finishers and to the male and female winners in each age group: 10 & under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, and 70+.
This race is part of the Mercer Health 5K Challenge, a series of seven events. The challenge offers online registration for all races and a bundle option to register for all seven at a discounted price. The challenge schedule includes Zuma (June 20), Country Fest (June 27), Redskin Classic (July 5), Shane's Crossing (July 11), St. Clair (July 18), Lake Festival (July 25), and Buzzard's Glory 5k (August 1).
