ShamRock'N 5K in Tazewell
ShamRock'N 5K takes place on March 14, 2026 at Wayfarer Appalachia, 386 Main St., Tazewell, VA 24651. The event includes both an in-person 5K Run/Walk and a Virtual 5K, and the event supports The Billy Wagner Park community project.

Packet pickup is scheduled at Wayfarer Appalachia on the day of the event, with a published pickup window from 3:00 to 4:30 pm.
Participation rules note that all participants must wear an official race bib and follow the designated course. The event is open to runners, walkers, and wheelchair athletes. Bicycles, skateboards, and rollerblades are not permitted. Baby strollers are allowed in the back of the starting pack, and well behaved, leashed dogs are permitted. Headphones are allowed but participants should remain alert to traffic and course directions.
The race will be timed by We Run Events using B tags attached to the back of the bib. Results will be available after the race at on-site kiosks or via posted QR codes and online results. Registration fee information lists $30 for general entries with ages 1 to 18 shown as $0 and a scheduled price increase after January 31, 2026.
