Event
The ShamRock'N 5K takes place on March 14, 2026 at Wayfarer Appalachia, 386 Main St., Tazewell, VA 24651, US. The event includes a course 5 kilometers in length and a virtual option. Entry and packet pickup
General registration is listed at $30. Children ages 1 to 18 may register for $0. The entry fee increases after January 31, 2026 at 11:59 pm EST. Packet pickup is at Wayfarer Appalachia (386 Main St., Tazewell, VA) on Saturday, March 14, 2026 from 3:00 to 4:30 pm.
Race rules and timing
All participants must be registered and wear the official race bib during the event. The race is open to runners, walkers, and wheelchair athletes; bicycles, skateboards, and rollerblades are not permitted. Baby strollers are allowed at the back of the starting pack. Leashed dogs are permitted. Headphones are allowed but participants should remain alert at intersections. The race is timed by We Run Events using B-tags attached to the back of bib numbers.
