Event overview
The 11th Annual Shamrock Stampede is a 5K race held on March 14, 2026 at Bridgewater-Raynham Regional High School, 415 Center Street, Bridgewater, MA. The course is a loop that takes place on the back roads of Bridgewater and starts and finishes at the high school. Walkers are welcome, running strollers should start in the back, and dogs are not allowed.
Registration and logistics
Registration is open in age-based categories for adults, youth, and seniors, and fees change by registration date. The shirt deadline is the end of day on Sunday, March 1. Bib pickup and on-site registration details are to be determined; these will occur at the high school on race day. All race-day parking is at Bridgewater-Raynham Regional High School.
After the race there is a post-race gathering at Barrett's Alehouse, 425 Bedford Street, Bridgewater, with a complimentary draft beer for participants age 21 and over. The event recommends ride sharing between the high school and Barrett's Alehouse because the restaurant parking lot is small.
Awards and charities
Awards include overall 1st, 2nd and 3rd places for male and female finishers, first place male and female in multiple age groups (10 & under; 11-15; 16-19; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-69; 70-79; 80+), and top two teams based on the combined times of their top three finishers. Benefitting organizations include a parent-focused mental health advocacy nonprofit and a scholarship fund that awards a Silver Lake High School senior entering the field of nursing.
