ShamRock N Run
The ShamRock N Run is an annual 5k race held in downtown Waterloo, Iowa. The event takes place on Saturday, August 1, 2026, as part of the celebrations for the Iowa Irish Fest. The course is situated near the corner of Park Avenue and Mulberry Street, specifically located by the Main Gate 1 entrance of the festival grounds.

The event includes early packet pickup and walk-up registration options on the Friday before the race at the festival's main gate. On the day of the event, additional packet pickup and registration services are available at the site.
Registered participants receive several amenities as part of their entry, including a T-shirt, snacks, water, and one beer. While race registration does not automatically include admission to the Iowa Irish Fest, participants have the option to purchase a discounted weekend festival pass during the registration process.
