2026 Shamrock 5K and 10K
The Shamrock 5K and 10K takes place in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio. Both races are hosted at Woodridge Middle School, located across the street from the High School. Participants can choose between two primary distances:
- 5 km
- 10 km
The 5 km course is an out-and-back route described as flat. The 10 km course consists of two laps of the 5 km route. Due to insurance limitations, pets, baby joggers, strollers, and roller blades are not permitted on the course.
Participants who pre-register for either distance receive a hooded sweatshirt. Packet pick-up is available only on the day of the race at Woodridge Middle School. Post-race refreshments are provided to all runners after they complete their event.
Awards are presented to the top three overall men and women. Additionally, awards are given to the top three finishers in various age groups, ranging from 14 and under to 80 and over. These age group awards feature bobble heads and may extend deeper into the field depending on the number of participants. Registration for the event is non-refundable and non-transferable.
