The Shaker Lakes Hike and Run is a community event held in Cleveland, Ohio, organized by the Nature Center at Shaker Lakes. The running courses are chip-timed on local roads. The guided hikes vary in intensity and distance. For example, the 6-mile hike travels from the Nature Center to Lake Erie through University Circle and return via shuttle. The 5-6 mile Gorge Hike involves varied terrain including hills, tree roots, and rocks. Historical and family-oriented options are also available, including an ADA-accessible trail where leashed pets are permitted.
