Shaker Lakes Hike and Run
The Nature Center at Shaker Lakes presents a combined running and hiking event at Shaker Lakes Parklands in Cleveland, Ohio. The running program includes a chip-timed 5k and 10k road race with cash awards for top overall finishers and age-group cookie medals; the 1 Mile Run/Walk is also chip-timed.
Guided hikes range from about 1 mile to 6 miles. Options include an ADA accessible 1 to 2 mile family friendly hike led by the Nature Center, several moderate hikes around the Doan Brook Gorge led in partnership with the Cleveland Hiking Club, and longer hikes of varied difficulty. Leashed dogs are allowed on hikes and runs if they remain near the back, and leashed pets are welcomed on the Nature Center led hike.

- 3.1 Miles (5k): $30.00
- 6.2 Miles (10k): $35.00
- Hikes: $22.50 to $27.50 depending on route
Fundraising incentives refund entry fees and provide merchandise at tiered levels, including hats, water bottles, sweatshirts, and benefit tickets for higher fundraising amounts.
