Event overview
The Settle road races are UKA accredited and governed events that start and finish at Settle Swimming Pool, Kendal Road, Giggleswick, Settle, BD24 0BU. The programme uses out-and-back routes through North Yorkshire countryside with views over Pen-Y-Gent and Ingleborough. The course is on road and described as undulating.

Feed and drink stations are located about every 3 miles; the organiser aims to be cup-less and asks runners to bring a reusable cup or bottle. The course is marshalled and signed. Toilets are available at the start. Finishers receive a bespoke medal and refreshments.
Routes: downloadable GPX files are provided. Routes are mainly off road in sections and not every corner or junction will have a marshal, so participants should have a route copy to help navigation. In-ear and over-ear headphones are not permitted; bone-conducting headphones are allowed.
Parking is not available at registration; public car parks are available in Settle. Participants are asked not to park on the B6480 or Stackhouse’s Lane because of police or council enforcement. If a runner withdraws during the event they should inform the nearest marshal; in some cases changing to a shorter distance is permitted.
