Event overview
The Settle Half Marathon is a UK Athletics accredited road race held in the Yorkshire Dales on 22 February 2026. The event starts and finishes at Settle Swimming Pool, Kendal Road, Giggleswick, Settle, BD24 0BU. The course is an out-and-back route and is described as undulating, running through North Yorkshire countryside with views out over Pen-Y-Gent and Ingleborough. The event offers a bespoke medal and treats for all finishers.
Practical information
The race terrain is road. Feed and drink stations are positioned about every 3 miles; the event aims to be cup-less so competitors are asked to bring a reusable cup or bottle. The course is marshalled and signed, but routes are mainly off road and not every corner or junction will have a marshal; downloadable GPX files are provided for navigation. Toilets are available at the start. Registration opens from 8am and entrants are advised to allow time for parking, registration and facilities. Parking is not available at registration; public car parks are available in Settle. Do not park on the B6480 or Stackhouse’s Lane as enforcement will be in place. UKA rules prohibit in-ear or over-ear headphones; bone-conducting headphones are permitted. The event is open to entrants aged 17 and over on 22/02/2026. Tickets are listed at £24.00 to £26.00. Transfers and deferrals can be self-served on the organiser’s booking channels. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
