Settle Road Race
The Settle Road Race, organized by It's Grim Up North Running, is a UK Athletics-accredited event held in the picturesque Yorkshire Dales town of Settle. The race features three out-and-back distances: a half marathon, a 10-mile, and a 10k, all on an undulating road course that offers stunning views of Pen-Y-Gent and Ingleborough. Participants run through scenic North Yorkshire countryside, passing farms and hamlets.
The course is well marshalled and signed, with drink and food stations approximately every three miles. The event starts and finishes at Settle Swimming Pool, providing toilets and ample parking nearby. Finishers receive bespoke medals and treats. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
Always double-check with the organizer's website – things can change, and we might have sprinted past a few details!
