The Settle Road Race, organized by It's Grim Up North Running, is a UK Athletics-accredited event held in the picturesque Yorkshire Dales town of Settle. The race features multiple out-and-back distances, including a half marathon and a 10-mile option, on an undulating road course that winds through scenic North Yorkshire countryside. Participants enjoy stunning views of Pen-Y-Gent and Ingleborough while running past farms and hamlets.

The course is well marshalled and signed, with feed stations approximately every three miles offering drinks and food. The event starts and finishes at Settle Swimming Pool, providing toilets and ample parking nearby. Finishers receive bespoke medals and treats. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
