Event Overview
The Set the PACE 5K is an annual event held at the Detroit Riverwalk. Now in its fifth year, the event supports PACE Southeast Michigan and their efforts to assist older adults. The event features multiple ways to participate:
- 5K Run
- 5K Walk
- Virtual 5K Run/Walk
The course is a timed, out-and-back route that takes participants along the riverwalk and through Milliken State Park. A water station is located at the turnaround point, which is at approximately the 1-mile mark. The event proceeds regardless of weather conditions and registration fees are non-refundable. For the safety of participants, personal pets and dogs are not permitted on the course.
