Semi-Marathon de la Province de Liège
The event takes place on Île Monsin in Liège, with the village and departures on the Esplanade Roi Albert and finishes near the Coronmeuse ecoquarter. Routes are described as flat and fast and include several race formats.
Distances offered:
- 21 km
- 10 km
- 5 km
- Children races
- Nature walk of about 8 km
Practical services include bib pickup the day before at Trakks Liège and on race day at Île Monsin, a bag drop and changing facilities, on-course refreshments, medical assistance, finishers' medals, an after-race village and catering, and event animations. A bike parking area is provided at the top of the esplanade.
Access information: public transport is recommended. The tram reaches Coronmeuse at the end of the network. Bus lines from Liège-Guillemins serve Place Coronmeuse, about a 15 minute walk to the event village. The site is about 6 km from Liège-Guillemins station and about 1.2 km from Herstal station. Six car parks will be available, with organizers asking drivers to approach via Herstal to ease motorway traffic.
Race management: podium prizes are planned for top finishers by category and for team awards. Online results use five year age groups and team classifications. A fast-start pen is available for pre-registered runners exceeding 13 km per hour. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
