Urban Estates Selwyn Marathon : Lincoln, New Zealand
The Urban Estates Selwyn Marathon takes place on Sunday 6 June 2027, starting and finishing at the Lincoln Events Centre on Meijer Drive in Lincoln. The event offers three distances:
- Full Marathon (two laps of a 21.1 km certified loop)
- Half Marathon
- 10 km out and back
The route passes through the town of Lincoln, surrounding rural areas and a vineyard, including a section through Rossendale Wines off the Akaroa Highway and on to Old Tai Tapu Road. The 10 km course is an out and back route with about 10 m of elevation gain. The marathon course is measured and certified by a certificated road race course measurer and is graded in association with AIMS and World Athletics.
Drink stations are located at approximately 4 km, 9.5 km, 15 km, 21 km, 25 km, 30.5 km, 36 km and at the finish. Stations provide R-Line electrolyte drink and water and will have cups available; runners using vests may refill bottles or bladders at these stations.
Start arrangements differ by category: all marathon entrants start together, while half marathon and 10 km run and walk categories start at separate times. Urban Estates is listed as a sponsor of the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
