Sekani (ish) Trail Run
The Sekani (ish) Trail Run is an outdoor sports event held at Minnehaha Park in Spokane, Washington. The course features dirt trails that overlook the Spokane River, providing views of the city and its surrounding areas. This event is organized as an adventure run, hike, or walk, incorporating various natural course challenges throughout the landscape.
Participants can choose from several distance options held within the park:
- 10 km individual age group or open race.
- 5 km individual age group or open race.
- 1 km youth run with open registration.
The event serves as a benefit for Franklin Elementary School's APPLE program. Registration packages typically include an event shirt for participants who register by the designated September deadline. While there is a fee for the longer distances, the youth distance is provided without a registration cost, though it does not include a shirt.
The event schedule includes packet pickup opportunities on the Friday and Saturday preceding the race at a local athletic store on West Summit Parkway.
