Seize the Day 5K Run/Walk - St. Louis
The Seize the Day 5K Run/Walk is scheduled for August 15, 2026 at Kirkwood Park, 111 South Geyer Road, Kirkwood, MO. The event is organized by the Epilepsy Foundation of Missouri and Kansas to raise funds and awareness for people living with epilepsy in Missouri and Kansas. Participation supports services and programs for the nearly 200,000 people in the region who live with epilepsy.
The event features both in person and virtual options. In person activities include a timed 5K and a 1 mile walk, followed by family oriented activities such as bubbles, snow cones, face painting, and a balloon artist. The event will also collect new art supplies for Art4Epilepsy; donated supplies will be given to children in Epilepsy Monitoring Units in St. Louis.
Packet pickup will be available at Fleet Feet Des Peres, located at 11731 Manchester Road, Des Peres, MO. Registration includes opportunities to fundraise, and there are specific registration categories and fees for adults and children, including virtual participation that includes shipping of a race shirt and bib.
