About the race
Seeds of Hope 5K & 10K Gobble Gallop is a community run with both timed and untimed options held on November 8, 2026 at Moriches Field Brewing Company, 1 Wilcox Ave, Center Moriches, NY. The event offers two distance choices:
- 5K
- 10K
The course starts and finishes at the brewery. Water stations are provided at the 1.5 mile mark for the 5K and at the 3 and 4.5 mile marks for the 10K. Packet pickup and on-site registration occur the morning of the event at the brewery; registering three weeks in advance enables a personalized bib.
Runners can expect race amenities in the brewery outdoor beer garden, including music, a food truck, and brewery beer available for purchase after the event. Every runner receives a raffle ticket with prizes such as beer glasses and five crowlers filled with a beer of choice. Additional contests include awards for top finishers and a prize for best costume; the largest team receives a basket of cheer.
Awards are offered for both distances: Top 1 male and female overall, and Top 3 male and female in age groups 14 & under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+. Registration options include timed and untimed entries and listed fees vary by option. All proceeds benefit Seeds of Hope Tanzania, which supports children, families, and communities in Tanzania.
