Event details
The Secret Santa Festive Trail Series is set for Saturday 6 December 2025 at Cwmdu Village Hall, near Crickhowell in the Black Mountains, Powys, NP8 1RW. Entry opens 18 February 2025 and closes 30 November 2025. The minimum age is 17 or older. An eight-hour cut-off is allocated for the events. Prizes include 1st, 2nd and 3rd handcrafted slate trophies and category awards for veterans over 50 and 60.

- Turkey Ten miles - entry fee £55
- Figgy Pud 14km - entry fee £45
The organiser provides a bespoke medal and refreshments. Parking is charged at £5. The event is cup free; participants should bring a reusable cup.
Course and facilities
All routes start from Cwmdu Hall and head west towards Bwlch Mountain. Courses follow the Beacons Way until they split on Mynydd Llangorse. The Half Marathon follows the trail on Cockit Hill, passes views of the lake and central Beacons, climbs back to Cefn Moel, then returns to the finish. The Ten Mile and 14km use the same initial route and turn back earlier.
Terrain is technical with rocky paths, boggy moorland, narrow single-track trails and some forest sections. The course will be fully marked and have back runner support. On-route facilities include two refuel zones, refreshments, toilets, a full medical team and on-course nutrition support. Mandatory kit is required and will be checked at registration.
