Secaucus Trick or Trot 5K Run/Walk
The Secaucus Trick or Trot 5K takes place in Secaucus, New Jersey on October 31, 2026, at 11 Millridge Rd. The event features a USATF certified 5K course (Certification #: NJ22001DB), measured to national standards. The course distance is 5 Kilometers (3.1 Miles) and is described as a fast paved route with a unique loop configuration.
The morning includes a 5K run or walk, a live DJ, candy at the finish, and vendor presence. Participants receive a Trick or Trot T-shirt. Halloween costumes are encouraged and special awards are presented for Best Individual Costume, Best Family or Group Costume, and Most Creative Costume.
Awards are given to the top three overall male and female finishers and to the top male and female finisher in each age group, including under 14, 15 to 24, 25 to 34, 35 to 44, 45 to 54, 55 to 64, 65 to 74, 75 to 84, and 85 and over.
A virtual 5K option runs from October 24 to October 31 and allows participants to complete the distance at a location of their choice and submit results online. Virtual participants receive an official race listing and may receive a finisher medal if offered. A portion of proceeds and donations support local first responder departments, recreation programs, community health and wellness initiatives, and future community events.
