SeaWorld San Diego Howl-O-Sprint 5K Run
SeaWorld San Diego hosts the Howl-O-Sprint 5K Run on Sunday, October 18, 2026. The event is presented as the third annual edition and uses a 3.1-mile course that passes through parts of the park. The route includes Halloween-themed decorations, themed photo moments, and costumed characters along the way.
All 5K participants receive an official race shirt, a race bib with a timing chip, and a finisher medal. Live results and awards are provided, and the top three male and female finishers in each age division receive two SeaWorld San Diego admission tickets. The event policy allows strollers; for safety, stroller users are asked to line up toward the back at the start.
A separate Kids Fun Run is offered for children ages 12 and under; the course is approximately 1K and parents may accompany registered children. Costumes are encouraged for both events, but masks are not permitted. Registration is available online or in person at the event. The event is scheduled while the park is operating its Howl-O-Scream and Halloween Spooktacular activities, offering a Halloween-themed running experience inside the park grounds.
