Seattle Kraken 5K
The Seattle Kraken 5K is an event on October 3, 2026 at Green Lake Park in Seattle presented by Virginia Mason Franciscan Health. Proceeds benefit the Kraken Hockey Fights Cancer Fund. The event is organized as a community run and walk tied to the start of the 2026 2027 Seattle Kraken season.

Registration fees listed for event options include a paid 5K entry, a free kids dash, and a separate fee for the virtual 5K. Reduced pricing applies for children up to age 13. Team registration includes a group refund structure where a team receives a five dollar refund after the first five team members register.
Pre-race packet pickup is available on several dates at local locations: Super Jock and Jill Greenlake at 7210 E. Greenlake Drive N, Brooks Trailhead at 3400 Stone Way, and Kraken Community Iceplex at 10601 5th Ave NE. On race day, the program includes packet pickup, shuttles, a costume contest, a beer garden, and post race awards. Virtual participants receive a race bib, event shirt, and finisher medal by mail and may submit photos and results for the official finisher list. Virtual registration closes in September.
