Seattle Kraken 5K - Green Lake Park, Seattle
The Seattle Kraken 5K presented by Virginia Mason Franciscan Health takes place on October 3, 2026, at Green Lake Park in Seattle, WA. Proceeds from the event benefit the Kraken Hockey Fights Cancer Fund.
Event offerings include:
- 5K run/walk
- Free Kids Dash, approximately 200 m
- Virtual 5K with mailed packet option
Registration windows and fees are provided for each event. The in-person 5K has an entry fee of $30.00. The Free Kids Dash has no entry fee. The virtual 5K has a fee of $40.00. Reduced pricing applies for children up to age 13. Teams receive a $5 refund once five team members have registered.
Pre-race packet pickup is scheduled on three days at local locations: Super Jock and Jill Greenlake (7210 E. Greenlake Drive N), Brooks Trailhead (3400 Stone Way), and Kraken Community Iceplex (10601 5th Ave NE). On race day there will be shuttle service between Kraken Community Iceplex and Green Lake, registration and packet pickup availability, a costume contest, multiple wave starts including a walkers wave and a faster-paced wave for sub 8:00 minute per mile pace, awards, and a beer garden. Virtual participants receive a race bib, event shirt, and finisher's medal by mail and may submit results and photos for the official finisher list.
