Seattle Kraken 5K : Green Lake Park
The Seattle Kraken 5K presented by Virginia Mason Franciscan Health is scheduled for October 3, 2026, at Green Lake Park in Seattle, WA (7201 E Greenlake Drive North). Proceeds benefit the Kraken Hockey Fights Cancer Fund. The event is intended to mark the start of the 2026–2027 Seattle Kraken season.
Event options and formats include:

- 200 m Free Kids Dash
- Virtual 5K with mailed packet
Registration details include reduced pricing for children age 13 and under. Teams receive a $5 refund after five team members have registered.
Pre-race packet pickup is offered on September 30, October 1, and October 2 at designated locations: Super Jock and Jill Greenlake (7210 E. Greenlake Drive N), Brooks Trailhead (3400 Stone Way), and Kraken Community Iceplex (10601 5th Ave NE). Race day logistics include on-site packet pickup, a kids dash, multiple 5K waves, an awards presentation, and a beer garden; shuttle service runs between the Kraken Community Iceplex and Green Lake Park.
Virtual participants receive a race bib, event shirt, and finisher's medal sent to their home. Virtual entrants may submit photos and results to be included on the official finisher list. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
