Event overview
The Seattle Kraken 5K is scheduled for Saturday, October 3, 2026, at Green Lake Park in Seattle. The event is presented by Virginia Mason Franciscan Health and its proceeds benefit the Kraken Hockey Fights Cancer Fund. The in-person 5K is organized into multiple start waves by pace, including a designated wave for walkers. Reduced pricing is offered for participants under 18. Registration pricing shown on the event page lists the in-person 5K at $30, the Free Kids Dash at $0, and the Virtual 5K at $40. Virtual participants receive a race bib, event shirt, and finisher's medal mailed to their home; virtual registration closes September 15.
Pre-race packet pickup is available on multiple days at specified local locations: Super Jock and Jill Greenlake, Brooks Trailhead, and the Kraken Community Iceplex.
