Seaside Showdown Series: Mickeleens Path
This event takes place in Witless Bay, NL, on an approximately 11 km loop called Mickeleens Path. The route starts and finishes in Witless Bay, beginning on the "Old Track" opposite the Witless Bay trailhead and then connecting to Mickeleens Path.
Participants are expected to know the trail. A GPX file is available on request so the route can be followed on a Garmin watch or other device. The Seaside Showdown Series Strava club also provides route files for download.
The course is not continuously flagged; volunteers will be stationed at key locations to help keep runners on route. Registration and race bibs are non-transferable to other individuals, though moving a registration to another Seaside Showdown Series race is possible with advance notice. If the event is cancelled, refunds minus service fees or rollover registration options will be offered.
Recommended parking is at the Witless Bay Seabird Ecological Reserve Tourist Information Centre near the beach. Bib pickup occurs at race check-in at the starting area. Organizers encourage carpooling or drop offs to reduce parking demand. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
