Seaside Showdown Series: Mickeleens Path
The event takes place in Witless Bay, NL, on an approximately 11 km loop starting and ending at Witless Bay on Mickeleens Path. The route begins with the "Old Track" (opposite the Witless Bay Trail Head) and then connects to Mickeleens Path.
The course is not flagged; volunteers are posted at key locations to help keep runners on the trail. Participants are expected to know the route. A GPX file will be provided for following the route on a Garmin watch or other devices. A Strava club holds all routes available for download.
Parking is at the Witless Bay Seabird Ecological Reserve Tourist Information Centre near the beach. Registration and bib numbers cannot be transferred to other individuals; moving a registration to another Seaside Showdown Series race is possible with advance notice. If the event is cancelled, refunds (less service fees) or rollover registration will be offered.
The race is one of four in the series, which also includes Sugarloaf Path, Deadman's Bay Path, and Cape Spear Path. Each race has independent registration; a season pass for all four events is available. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
