Seaside Showdown Series: Mickeleens Path
The event is scheduled for August 15, 2026 in Witless Bay, NL. It is an approximately 11 km trail race organized by the Seaside Showdown Series. The course is the Mickeleens Path Witless Bay Loop, starting on the "Old Track" opposite the Witless Bay Trail Head and then connecting onto Mickeleens Path.
This is not a flagged course; volunteers will be stationed at key locations to help keep runners on the trail. Competitors are expected to know the route in advance. A GPX file is available on request for use with Garmin watches or other devices. Route files are also available to download through the event's Strava club.
Recommended parking is at the Witless Bay Seabird Ecological Reserve Tourist Information Centre near the beach. Bib pickup occurs at race checkin. Registrations and bib numbers cannot be transferred to other individuals; moving a registration to another Seaside Showdown Series race is possible with advance notice. If the event is cancelled, refunds less service fees or rollover registration options will be offered.
