Seaside Showdown Series: Mickeleens Path
The event takes place in Witless Bay and follows an approximately 11 km loop on Mickeleens Path. The route begins on the "Old Track" (opposite the Witless Bay Trail Head) and then connects to Mickeleens Path. Parking is available at the Witless Bay Seabird Ecological Reserve Tourist Information Centre near the beach.
This race is part of the Seaside Showdown Series, a set of four separate events. Each race requires its own registration; a season pass is available for all four dates. Organizers will provide a GPX file so participants can follow the route on compatible watches or devices. Routes are also available through the series Strava club.
The course is not flagged; volunteers will be placed at key locations to help keep runners on the trail. Participants are expected to know the route in advance. Registration closes on Saturday, August 1 (local NT). Registration and bib numbers cannot be transferred to other individuals, though moving a registration to another Seaside Showdown Series race is possible with advance notice. If the event is cancelled, refunds less service fees or rollover registration will be offered. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
