Seaside Showdown Series: Mickeleens Path
The Seaside Showdown Series event on August 14, 2027 takes place in Witless Bay, NL and is organized by the Seaside Showdown Series. The course is an approximately 11 K loop that starts and ends at Witless Bay on Mickeleens Path, beginning on the Old Track opposite the Witless Bay trail head and then connecting to Mickeleens Path.
Racers are expected to know the trail because this is not a flagged course. Volunteers will be positioned at key locations to help keep participants on the route. A GPX file is available on request for use with Garmin or other devices, and all routes are also available through the event Strava club.
Logistics notes from the organizer include bib pick up at race check in, parking at the Witless Bay Seabird Ecological Reserve Tourist Information Centre near the beach, and an encouragement to use drop off or carpooling. Registration details specify that bibs and registrations cannot be transferred to other individuals; moving registration to another Seaside Showdown Series race is possible with advance notice. If the event is cancelled, refunds less service fees or rollover registration will be offered.
The listed entry fee is USD 29. Live results and community photo albums from previous years are provided by the organizer. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
