Event Information
The Seaside Showdown Series: Mickeleens Path is a trail running event. It takes place in Witless Bay, Newfoundland and Labrador. The course is an 11 km loop.
The Course
The loop starts and finishes in Witless Bay on Mickeleens Path. It begins on the "Old Track," opposite the Witless Bay Trail Head, and connects to Mickeleens Path. The course is not flagged with markers; knowledge of the trail is expected. A GPX file of the route is provided for use with devices like Garmin watches. Volunteers will be stationed at key locations on the course.
Registration and Schedule
Registration closes on Saturday, August 1, 2026. On race day, check-in occurs from 9:15 AM to 9:45 AM. The race starts at 10:00 AM. Participants are asked to park at the Witless Bay Seabird Ecological Reserve Tourist Information Centre, near the beach.
Series Details
This is one race in the Seaside Showdown Series. Other races in the series include Sugarloaf Path, Deadman's Bay Path, and Cape Spear Path.
