Seaside Showdown Series: Deadman's Bay Path
The Seaside Showdown Series presents a trail race on July 17, 2027, in St. John's, NL. The course follows the Deadman's Bay Path and covers a distance of 10.6K from Fort Amherst to Blackhead. The event is organized by Seaside Showdown Series.
The route is not a flagged course, and participants are expected to have knowledge of the trail. A GPX file is available on request so participants can follow the route on GPS devices. The series maintains a Strava club where all routes are available to download.
Volunteers will be positioned at key locations on the course to help keep runners on the trail. Race check in and bib pick up take place at the starting line. Parking is available near the starting area and at the finish; organizers encourage carpooling or drop off where feasible.
Registration and bib numbers are non transferable to other individuals, though moving a registration to another Seaside Showdown Series race is possible with advance notice. If the event is canceled, refunds less service fees or a rollover registration will be offered.
