Seaside Showdown Series: Deadman's Bay Path
This event takes place in St. John's, NL and features a 10.6K distance on the Deadman's Bay Path. The route runs from Ft. Amherst to Blackhead and is part of the Seaside Showdown Series, which also includes Sugarloaf Path, Cape Spear Path and Mickeleen's Path.
The course is not flagged; volunteers are posted at key locations to help keep participants on the trail. Participants are expected to know the route in advance. A GPX file is available on request for use with a Garmin watch or other device. Routes are also available through the series Strava club.
Registrations and bib numbers are not transferable to other individuals. Moving a registration to another Seaside Showdown Series race is possible with advance notice. If the event is cancelled, refunds less service fees or rollover registration will be offered.
On race day, bib pickup happens during race check-in. Parking at the start area is limited and carpooling is encouraged. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
