Seaside Showdown Series: Deadman's Bay Path
This event takes place in St. John's, NL, on the Deadman's Bay Path from Fort Amherst to Blackhead. The route distance is 10.6K and the race is part of the Seaside Showdown Series. Each race in the series requires a separate registration; a season pass covering four events is offered as an option.
A GPX file will be provided on request so participants can follow the route on compatible devices. The series maintains a Strava club where routes are available to download and community photo albums from prior years are shared. Volunteers will be stationed at key locations to help keep runners on the trail, but the course is not flagged, so participants are expected to know the route.
Bib pickup occurs at race check-in. Parking is available at both the starting and finish areas; organizers encourage drop off or carpooling. Registration is listed as closing on July 18. Registration entries and bib numbers are not transferable to other individuals, though transfers to another Seaside Showdown Series race are possible with advance notice.
