Seagrave Wolds Challenge 2026
The Seagrave Wolds Challenge is a cross country run and walk held on Saturday 7 November 2026 in the Leicestershire Wolds. The route changes each year but is typically approximately 16 miles long. The course uses footpaths and sections of private land and covers varied, hilly terrain.
The event is framed as a personal challenge against the distance, terrain and weather rather than a race. Well behaved dogs are permitted. There are food and drink stops on the route, and at the finish cobs, cakes and Seagrave apple crumbles are served.
Entries are limited to a maximum of 700 participants. Minimum age is 10 years; entrants under 16 years must be accompanied by an adult. Entries close on 31 October 2026 and transfers close on 1 November 2026.
Location details are given as Seagrave War Memorial Hall, Green Lane, Seagrave, Leicestershire LE12 7LU. Entry fees listed for 2026 are adult 16 to 64 years £28.00, over 65s £15.00 and under 16s £15.00 (accompanied by an adult). Proceeds are donated to local charities including Seagrave Village Church, the Memorial Hall and School, and the Royal British Legion. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
