Seagrave Wolds Challenge
The Seagrave Wolds Challenge is an annual walking and running event held in the scenic Leicestershire Wolds countryside. Covering approximately 16 miles, the route varies each year and includes footpaths and private land, offering a diverse terrain challenge. The event emphasizes personal endurance over competition, with food and drink stops, toilets, and medical support available along the way.
Well-behaved dogs are welcome, and participants under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Organized by the Seagrave village community, the event supports local charities including the church, memorial hall, school, and the Royal British Legion. Traditional refreshments like cobs, soup, and the famous Seagrave apple crumble are served at the finish. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
