Seagrave Wolds Challenge
The Seagrave Wolds Challenge is an annual cross-country running and walking event held in Seagrave, Leicestershire. Covering approximately 16 miles, the route varies each year and traverses the scenic Leicestershire Wolds countryside, including footpaths and private land. The event emphasizes personal challenge over competition, welcoming well-behaved dogs and participants aged 10 and above (under 16s must be accompanied by an adult).
Support stations with food, drink, and toilets are available along the hilly, multi-terrain course. At the finish, participants enjoy refreshments including the famous Seagrave apple crumble. Organized by the local community, proceeds benefit local charities such as the village church, school, and Royal British Legion. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
