Seagrave Wolds Challenge 2026
The Seagrave Wolds Challenge is a cross country run or walk through the Leicestershire Wolds. The route changes each year but is typically approximately 16 miles and uses footpaths and sections of private land across varied terrain. The event is presented as a personal challenge against terrain, weather and distance rather than as a race.
Support is provided on the route with food and drink stops. At the finish there are cobs, cakes and the Seagrave apple crumbles. Well behaved dogs are welcome. Proceeds are donated to local charities including Seagrave Village Church, Memorial Hall and School and the Royal British Legion.
This is the twenty second edition of the event. Entry is open to a maximum of 700 participants. The minimum age for entry is 10 years and entrants under 16 years must be accompanied by an adult. Entries close on 31 October 2026. Transfers close on 1 November 2026.
The event base is Seagrave War Memorial Hall, Green Lane, Seagrave, Leicestershire LE12 7LU. Entry fees for 2026 are shown by category: adult 16 to 64 years £28.00, over 65 years £15.00, under 16 years £15.00. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
