Seagrave Wolds Challenge
The Seagrave Wolds Challenge is an annual cross-country running and walking event held in the scenic Leicestershire Wolds countryside near Seagrave village. Covering approximately 16 miles of varied, hilly terrain, the route changes each year and includes footpaths and private land. The event emphasizes personal challenge over competition, welcoming well-behaved dogs and participants aged 10 and above (under 16s must be accompanied by an adult).
Food and drink stops with toilets are provided along the course, and finishers enjoy cobs, soup, and the famous Seagrave apple crumble. Organized by the local community, proceeds support local charities including the village church, school, and Royal British Legion. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
Always double-check with the organizer's website – things can change, and we might have sprinted past a few details!
