About the race
Set in the Leicestershire Wolds, the Seagrave Wolds Challenge is a roughly 16-mile cross-country route that changes each year, guiding walkers and runners along footpaths and private land around Seagrave. It is a community-led challenge rather than a race, with the route planned and marshalled by local volunteers. Well-behaved dogs are welcome, and there are food and drink stops with toilets on the course; at the finish, cobs, cakes and the legendary Seagrave apple crumbles await.
Proceeds support local charities including the Church, Memorial Hall, School and Royal British Legion. The event starts at Seagrave War Memorial Hall. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
