Seacoast Relay - NAOC/JTRR (June 13, 2026)
This is a team relay set in the Juneau area with a new combined distance of 26.2 miles for 2026. The event begins at the University of Alaska Southeast in front of the Egan Library. Runners use the road shoulder on the left side facing oncoming traffic; extra caution is required at the roundabout where drivers may not yield to pedestrians.
Entry is per person at $25. JTRR members in good standing receive a $5 discount. Registration allows individuals to enter before a team captain is set up by providing a team name or captain on the registration form. The listed leg mileages are approximate and maps are provided by leg.
Distances and main route features:
- Leg one approximately 7.4 miles from UAS via Auke Lake Wayside and Glacier Highway.
- Leg two approximately 3.7 miles along Back Loop Road to Auke Recreation.
- Leg three approximately 3.5 miles through Auke Recreation to the Lena Picnic area.
- Leg four approximately 6.0 miles on the main highway past Tee Harbor to the Shrine of St. Therese pullouts.
- Leg five approximately 5.6 miles north along the highway to Eagle Beach Outer Beach picnic shelter.
