Sea Lion 5k
The Sea Lion 5k is an event organized by the Aquarium of Niagara taking place in Niagara Falls, NY. The race features a course that starts and ends at Great Lakes 360, utilizing the New York State Parks trail along the Niagara Gorge. This specific route is a USATF certified course. Participation is open to runners, walkers, and individuals with strollers.

- 5 km (Virtual Option)
The virtual option allows participants to record their activity at any time during the month of September using a GPS mobile application. Those participating in the live event can check in and pick up their packets at Whirlpool Commons. Registration includes admission to the Aquarium of Niagara and Great Lakes 360. Participants who register by the specified September deadline are provided with an official event t-shirt.
Awards for the live event include certificates for animal encounters for the top overall male and female runners. Additionally, top runners in specific age groups receive paintings created by the sea lions. Following the race, an afterparty is held at Whirlpool Commons.
