The Sea 2 Sky Midnight Commuter Ultra is a challenging 58-kilometer nighttime ultra-marathon held in British Columbia, Canada, starting in Valleycliffe, Squamish, and finishing in West Vancouver. The course follows the scenic Sea-to-Sky Highway, featuring a 1,220-meter elevation gain and stunning views of Howe Sound and surrounding mountains. Runners navigate paved highway shoulders with aid stations every 10-15 km offering hydration, nutrition, and medical support.
Mandatory reflective gear and headlamps ensure safety in the dark. The event fosters a strong community spirit, includes support for pacers and teams, and offers post-race recovery amenities like hot breakfast, massages, and shuttle service back to Squamish.
