SCS Legacy Run
The SCS Legacy Run is a community sports event held at St. Cecilia School in Philadelphia. The event serves as a fundraiser to provide scholarship opportunities for students whose parents are alumni of Saint Cecilia School or Saint William’s School. These funds are intended to support families within the parish communities and the local neighborhood.
Participants can choose from several event categories:
- 5K Run Adult
- 5K Youth (ages 13 and under)
- 1 Mile Walk Adult
- 1 Mile Walk Youth (ages 13 and under)
- 50 Yard Dash (free for children ages 4-12)
The 5K course follows an out-and-back route on Huntingdon Pike. Awards are presented to the top three overall finishers. Additionally, the top two male and female finishers in various age groups will receive recognition, with categories starting from age 11 through to 60 and over.
Registration is available both in advance and on the day of the event, though prices increase for race-day sign-ups. Individuals who complete their registration by April 1 are guaranteed an event shirt. The venue is located at 525 Rhawn Street, Philadelphia.
