SCREAMER RUN 2026
AdaptiSport, Bakersfield's first and only fully accessible wellness center for adults with disabilities, is organizing the second annual SCREAMER RUN on the evening of Saturday, October 17, 2026. The event takes place on the main campus of California State University Bakersfield at 9001 Stockdale Highway, with start and finish at Alumni Park on Don Hart East Dr. between Stockdale Hwy and Kroll Way.
The program includes a range of event formats and community activities. Distances offered:
- 5K
- 1 mile Kids Trick or Treat Run for children ages 12 and under
The 5K entry includes an exclusive event t-shirt, a swag bag, one free drink ticket, and a participation medal. The Kids Trick or Treat Run includes trick or treating along the route, an exclusive event t-shirt, a swag bag, and access to a Kids Zone; children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. A virtual run option is also available and a vendor booth category is listed.
The event aims to raise funds and awareness for AdaptiSport, with a small portion of proceeds designated for the CSUB Students with Disabilities program.
