The event is presented by Service Thread and supports the Scotland Memorial Foundation. Funds raised will benefit the Diabetes Education Fund at Scotland Health Care System and the Scotland Cancer Treatment Center’s Patient Support Fund. Timing for the event is provided by Run The East, LLC.

Registration opens January 1, 2026. Published entry fees are: 5K - $35; 5K (College Student) - $20; 5K (K-12 Student Challenge) - $15; 1 Mile Walk (all ages) - $15. A T-shirt is guaranteed for registrants who sign up by April 18, 2026.

Awards include top three male and female overall, top three male and female in age groups (9 and under; 10-19; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-69; 70+), participant medals for all 5K finishers, and best costume awards for individual and team.
