Scores Summer Series for Scholarships
Scores Summer Series for Scholarships 8 Wednesdays is an eight week race series held in Wheelock Park, Keene, NH, from June 17 to August 12, 2026. The series includes weekly events and an option to register for the full eight weeks.
The series supports SRC's efforts to provide scholarships to area high school students who plan to continue running collegiately. The organizers describe the event as an "Old School" series and note that participants have ranged from beginning walkers to very fast milers.
Each weekly course is 2.8 miles on a flat out and back twisty loop that includes a circle. The event is conducted in rain but will not run during lightning or thunderstorms. Timing is provided and light refreshments are available after the finish.
Entry cost is $10 per event or $50 for the entire eight week series. Student pricing is half the regular rate at $5 per event or $25 for the full series. No cancellations are permitted and entries are considered a tax deductible donation. Participants who attend and finish at least six of the eight events receive a T shirt.
