Scores Summer Series for Scholarships
This is an eight-week running series held Wednesdays from June 17 to August 12, 2026, at Wheelock Park in Keene, New Hampshire. Each event uses a 2.8-mile course described as a flat, out and back twisty loop that includes a circular section.
The series supports scholarships for area high school students who plan to continue running in college. Events are held rain or shine except in the case of lightning or thunderstorms; the series will not run during thunderstorms.
Entry options and fees are stated as follows: individual events cost $10 each and the full eight-week series is offered for $50. Students pay half price: $5 per event or $25 for the full series. Registered participants receive finish times and light refreshments after the finish.
A completion reward is available: participants who actually finish six of the eight events receive a T-shirt. The organizer notes that registering for the entire series alone does not qualify a participant for the T-shirt; attendance and finishing six events are required.
