Schuetzen NEIN! Hour Endurance Run
Schuetzen NEIN! is a nine hour endurance running event held on June 20, 2026 in Davenport, IA. The event invites participants to cover as many miles as they can within a nine hour time limit. The venue is the Jens Lorenzen Pavilion at Schuetzen Park, with parking and restroom facilities adjacent to the pavilion.
Entrants may compete solo or in a Mannschaft team relay of up to three runners, with only one runner on course at a time. Teams may divide loops, mileage, and time among members as they choose.
The course is a 0.85 mile trail loop with roughly 125 to 150 feet of elevation gain per loop. Surface is mostly dirt and chipped rock single track with stair sections and short stretches of grass. The event is scheduled to proceed in typical seasonal weather and will run rain or shine.
A low registration fee covers an abundant aid station at the start/finish, hot food and cold beverages, and a custom race shirt. The event awards a Schuetzen Spanker for solo runners who reach 50k and for relay teams who reach 50 miles. The organizers donate a portion of proceeds to Schuetzen Park and have donated close to $10,000 to date. Schuetzen NEIN! is a member of the No Coast Trail Series.
Registration is online only, with no race morning registration, no refunds, and no bib transfers. A waitlist is maintained if capacity is reached and waitlisters are notified by email when spots open. Registered entrants who cannot attend may defer their entry for a 100 percent rollover credit to the following year if they request the deferral by May 31.
