Event Overview
The Schuetzen NEIN! Hour Endurance Run is a nine-hour running event where participants aim to complete as many miles as possible within the time limit. It takes place at Schuetzen Park in Davenport, Iowa. The event is organized by Quad Cities Trail & Ultra Runners and Sun Trail Running.
Course Details
The course consists of a 0.85-mile trail loop with 125-150 feet of elevation gain per loop. The loop features dirt and chipped rock single-track trail, stair sections, and some grass. The event proceeds regardless of weather conditions.
Participation Options
Runners can participate solo or as part of a relay team (Mannschaft Division). In the relay, teams of up to three people run one at a time and can divide loops, mileage, and time as they wish.
What's Included
The registration fee covers basic race amenities. This includes an aid station at the start/finish with hot food and cold beverages, a custom race shirt, and a donation to Schuetzen Park. Runners completing 50 kilometers or more solo or 50 miles or more as a relay team earn a special award. The event is part of the No Coast Trail Series.
Logistics
Check-in begins at 7:00 AM on the event day. The start and finish area is at the Jens Lorenzen Pavilion near Schuetzen Lane and Waverly Road, with parking and bathrooms available nearby.
Registration Information
Registration is online only via Ultrasignup. There is no paper or race-day registration. The event has a no-refund, no-bib-transfer policy but maintains a waitlist. A deferral option is available until May 31st, granting a 100% credit for the following year's event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
