42nd Annual Scheels Healthy Human Race
The Scheels Healthy Human Race is an established running event held in Rochester, Minnesota. Scheduled for September, this event serves as the RRCA 2026 State Championship Half Marathon Race. The course is designed to be fast and flat, utilizing the city's scenic walking and running trails. All participants finish their respective races at Soldier’s Field Park.
The event offers several participation options to accommodate different preferences:
- Half Marathon (21.1 km)
- 2-person Half Marathon Relay
- 5K
- Virtual formats for all distances
The physical races are walker-friendly. For those who cannot attend in person, virtual options allow participants to complete their chosen distance on their own time and date, though these entries are not eligible for competitive awards. Virtual participants can choose to have their race packets mailed for a fee or pick them up during designated times.
This event is organized by the Rochester Running Club and serves as a primary fundraiser for the organization. Members of the club are eligible for registration discounts. The race location is centered at the Soldiers Field Veterans Memorial on 7th Street Southwest. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
