Scarecrow Scuttle 5K, 10K, Family Fun Run
The Scarecrow Scuttle takes place on October 24, 2026 at Old McDonald’s Farm, 14369 County Rd. 145, Sackets Harbor, NY. The event offers timed road races and an untimed family run on farm property.

Registration for the 5K or 10K includes a T-shirt and a finisher medal; a finisher medal is guaranteed for the first 80 pre-registered 5K entrants and the first 20 pre-registered 10K entrants. Registered entrants who sign up three weeks in advance receive personalized names on their bibs; personalized bibs are available for those who register in time.
Course details start at Old McDonald’s Farm and follow North Harbor Rd., County Rd. 75 and Ridge Rd. The 5K turnaround is marked by an orange cone and trail marker. The 10K continues farther on Ridge Rd. with its own marked turnaround points. The Family Fun Run may follow the 5K route or use the unpaved Wizard of OZ Trail around the farm; the trail could be muddy. No dogs are allowed on the course.
Event amenities include live/text/email results, free finish-line photos, and same-day finish line video. Awards are given to top overall male and female and the top two in multiple age groups.
