Scarecrow Scuttle 5K, 10K, Family Fun Run : October 24, 2026
The Scarecrow Scuttle is a community running event held October 24, 2026 at Old McDonald's Farm in Sackets Harbor, NY. The event includes multiple distance options and a family fun run. Event parking is on the grass to the left of the admission building. The event runs rain or shine.
Distances:
- 5K run/walk with T-shirt and medal included
- 10K run with T-shirt and medal included
- Family Fun Run untimed; no T-shirt included
Registration for the 5K and 10K may include a T-shirt and a finisher medal for early registrants; personalized bibs are available for those who register three weeks before the event. Amenities include live online, text, and email results, free finish line photos, and same-day finish line video. Bib pickup is handled by event staff on race day. The course departs Old McDonald's Farm and follows North Harbor Road, County Road 75 and Ridge Road with turnarounds marked by orange cones and trail markers. Dogs are not allowed on the course. The Family Fun Run may follow the 5K route or use the unpaved Wizard of OZ trail around the farm, which could be muddy.
