2026 SCARE 5K and Rhythm of Life Health Fair
The SCARE 5K and Rhythm of Life Health Fair takes place on October 24, 2026 at Amerson River Park in Macon, Georgia. This is the 16th annual occurrence of the SCARE 5K.
The event is the signature fundraiser for the Georgia Arrhythmia Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. The foundation works to reduce death and disability from sudden cardiac arrest through community education and by improving access to lifesaving resources.
Registrations support Automated External Defibrillator donations to local organizations and fund free CPR and AED training offered throughout the community. Participation options include running, walking, or spectating.

Packet pickup is available the day before at Georgia Arrhythmia Consultants, 639 Hemlock Street, 2nd Floor, Macon GA 31201, and on the day of the event at Amerson River Park.
