SC Rascals Run - Long Beach
SC Rascals Run is a community 5k run/walk taking place in Long Beach on Saturday, May 23, 2026. The event raises funds for a local youth baseball team to support travel expenses to New York that summer. The route is a 5k out-and-back on the beach path; participants are asked to be courteous to other pedestrians, runners, and cyclists and to avoid the adjacent bike path.
Registration for the 5k is $30 and is processed via PayPal, Venmo, or credit card. Registration requires the name and date of birth of each participant. Confirmation emails are sent to the email associated with the payment account, typically within 12 hours; participants are advised to check their spam folder. Children aged 0–3 in strollers do not need to register.
All participants must sign a waiver; waivers can be emailed before race morning or completed on site at bib pick up. Finishers receive a medal, a goodie bag, and event photos and videos. Runners should wear their bib visible on the front to ensure accurate timing.
