Event overview
The Sawmill Ultra (Sawmill Relay) is set for June 6, 2026 in Lee Canyon / Mt. Charleston within the Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forest. The event uses a staging area near Sawmill Dayuse Loop A Rd. The course runs on three counterclockwise loops through forest terrain with local trees, wildflowers, and wildlife.

There are three loops of approximately 5.64 mi, 8.2 mi, and 4.3 mi. Relay teams must complete all three loops; the three loops together total about 19.22 miles for one circuit and about 38.45 miles when the course is done twice.
Logistics and support
The race is cup-less; participants should bring hydration packs to refill at aid stations. Marathoners and ultramarathoners will be provided gel electrolytes and Gatorade. Packet pickup and a bag-drop area are at the staging area before the race. Direction notes list GPS coordinates 36.3617, -115.635 and driving instructions from Highway 95 to Lee Canyon Road. Elevation is around 7,500 feet. Hot food, coffee, vegetarian options, and canned beer (21+ with ID) are provided at the event. Virtual entrants may upload results and receive a mailed medal and shirt (register early to guarantee a shirt). Awards are given 1st–3rd for male and female in all distances. If the event is canceled, registrants receive a transfer to another Triple Dare Running event; no refunds are issued. Volunteers earn credit toward future races.
