The Great British Seven in Seven Series
The event is a seven day running series held from a base at The Last Hop, Unit 2, Thames Edge Court, Clarence Street, Staines, TW18 4SU. Entry is for all days of the series only and offers a choice of daily distances and formats.
This is an eight hour Time Challenge format that gives runners control over how far they run each day. Key distance details:
- Minimum distance: 3 km.
- Lap length: 4.37 miles or 7 km, may change to a 3.28 mile loop.
- Half marathon requires 3 laps.
- Marathon requires 6 laps.
- Ultra requires 7 laps or more.
- 50 km distance available.
The course follows a stretch of the River Thames and is fully signed. Surfaces are mainly well made paths and tarmac with a short grass section. Road shoes are suitable year round. The route includes 3 km and 5 km turn points to support compliance with UK Athletics age rules.
Daily amenities include an aid table and drinks at the start/finish of each lap, goody bags with a vegan option, and options for daily medals and pins. Pins are available for Half-Marathon, Mega-Half, Marathon, 50 km and Ultra achievements. There is non-secure bag storage at the start/finish. Headphones are allowed.
