Time Warp Run - Staines-upon-Thames
Saturn Running presents a themed Time Challenge event held at The Last Hop, Thames Edge Court, Clarence Street, Staines. The event commemorates the life of actor Tim Curry and welcomes walkers as well as runners.
The event is a seven hour Time Challenge with flexible distance choices. The minimum official finishing distance is 3 km. A full lap measures 7 km (4.37 miles) but the course may be altered to a 3.28 mile loop depending on conditions. UK Athletics age restrictions apply to some distances. Typical lap counts: three laps for a half marathon, six for a marathon, seven or more for an ultra; a 50 km option is also available.

The route runs along a stretch of the River Thames, is fully signed and mainly on well made paths and tarmac with a short grass section. Road shoes are suitable year round. The event is licensed by the Trail Running Association and held under UK Athletics rules.
All finishers who complete at least 3 km receive a Rocky Horror themed medal; distance pins are awarded for half-marathon distance and above. Finishers receive a goody bag with a vegan option available on request. Aid and drinks tables are provided at the start/finish of each lap with vegan snack options.
Venue toilets are available but there are no separate changing rooms or showers. Parking is available at Bridge Street Car Park, Staines TW18 4TP. A non-secure bag drop is provided, headphones are allowed and participants should be considerate of other footpath users. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
