Event Overview
The Midweek Chasing Numbers is a flexible distance event held at the Wraysbury Skiff and Punting Club in Egham. This 7-hour time challenge gives participants full control over the distance they choose to complete within the allotted time frame. The event welcomes runners of all abilities as well as walkers.
Distance Options
Participants can choose from several distances, with specific turn points available to ensure younger runners comply with age-related distance regulations:

- 5 km
- 10 km
- Half Marathon (3 laps)
- Marathon (6 laps)
- 50 km
- Ultra Marathon (7 or more laps)
Course Details
The course runs along a stretch of the River Thames. It is a fully signed loop, requiring no navigational experience. Approximately 60% of the route consists of tarmac or well-made paths, while the remaining 40% features grass and light trails. A standard lap is typically 4.37 miles or 7 km, though this may be adjusted to a 3.28 mile loop depending on ground conditions.
Facilities and Amenities
The race headquarters includes toilets, changing facilities, and a cafe. An unmanned bag drop area is available near the start and finish line. A fully stocked aid station is provided at the end of each lap, offering a variety of sweet and savoury snacks, including vegan-friendly options. Finishers who complete at least 3 km receive a medal and a goody bag. Distance-specific pins are awarded for achievements of a half marathon or further.
Logistics
Number pick-up takes place on the morning of the event at registration. Parking is available at the Runnymede Pleasure Grounds using a pay-on-exit system. The use of headphones is permitted during the run. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
